Kathryn Johnson, RN, MSN

Kathryn attended Missouri Western State University, earning her BSN and MSN degrees. She has been a nurse for nearly three decades. Her career has taken her from acute care to long-term care to academia. Kathryn loves everything about nursing and continues to love each new experience. She moved to Green Hills after completing her master’s degree in nursing with a focus on education and work as the Staff Development Coordinator.  Kathryn is honored to be a part of Green Hills and work with each employee to ensure we provide the best possible care to each resident we have the privilege to care for. Her favorite part of her job is watching orientees think about things differently and see how our care is more than simply tasks assigned throughout the day. When she is not working, family and friends become her focus. They enjoy bonfires, days on the lake, amusement parks, live music, sporting events, and soaking in some time with nature.  She especially enjoys spending time with her daughter and her family when they are in Tennessee, or she can get away to Missouri to spend a few days with them.
