Karen Bolden

Karen attended St. Clair County Community College and Professional Skills Institute.  She has been in healthcare for 30 years. She began her career as a nursing assistant and later pursued her career as a nurse.  She has enjoyed time in home healthcare and years as a Director of Nursing in assisted living.  She became an assisted living administrator and worked as an interim executive director.  Her favorite part of her job is being a positive example to staff, residents, and family and making sure that we keep a great culture where we can all enjoy coming to work and taking care of our residents. In her spare time, Karen enjoys ministry. She has been in ministry for almost 30 years. She mentors dozens of women and enjoys being a positive influence in their lives. Karen has a multiplex center where she hosts numerous church events and assists Pastors and Community Leaders. She also enjoys spending time with my beautiful new grandbaby, who has stolen her heart! Karen married her teenage sweetheart nine years ago.  She has three beautiful sons, including twins who recently married sisters, and her youngest is soon to graduate college and married his college sweetheart.  She feels that the Lord blesses her.
