Amy Banaszek, MS, RD, LDN

Amy received her Master’s from Lipscomb University - in Exercise & Nutrition Science and has a bachelor’s from Texas A&M University in Biomedical Engineering and has been working for under a year. Nutrition is huge in health and healing, and she loves how dietetics combines complex science data with counseling techniques to create change. Long-term care is an incredibly unique challenge in that we are responsible for providing all food and supplements for residents, making proper nutrition practices even more important. Working with the interdisciplinary team to create comprehensive care plans brings her joy. She works at CrossFit, triathlons, hiking, camping, and baking bread in her spare time.
